Clare studied with Maurice Hasson and Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won all the major prizes, including the DipRAM, the highest accolade for performance.

Clare enjoys being in demand as soloist and recitalist, both here and abroad, and has performed at various festivals around the country.

She was invited to share a recital with Maxim Vengerov and also to appear as soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Clare also guest leads several orchestras including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Sinfonietta, English Sinfonia, and The BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
